The plate of the blade is manufactured using a premium grade of steel known as SK5. The plate is cut out by laser to ensure precision and accurate bore size.

The laser also cuts slots which allow the blade to expand during heat build up, keeping the blade true. The slots are then filled with a resin which reduces the noise level of the blade during a cut by up to 30%.

The blade is finished with a distinctive black electroplated coating. It prevents corrosion and makes it very easy to clean off any build up of resin and pitch.

Although you can cut any type of wood with any blade, for optimal performance, choose a number of teeth which best suits the majority of sawing you want to do.

TB1080 Fine Trim / Finishing: Extra Fine Finish: suitable for suitable for crosscutting in softwood, hardwood and exotic timber. Suitable for ripping and crosscutting in boards veneered on both sides, plywood, chipboard laminated on one side, MDF, particle board, hardboard and veneers.
